The 26/27 Artistic Accomplice Program
Outside the March continues its Artistic Accomplice program in 2026-2027. This hands-on apprenticeship focuses on the mentorship, development, and practical training for Production Leads and Theatre Technicians.
The Artistic Accomplice program is a paid opportunity for early career professionals who want to expand what’s possible for immersive, site-specific performance and audience experience.
As a company with a long history of creating immersive experiences and environments, we are specifically excited to connect with, mentor and bolster emerging designers from equity-seeking communities who possess a passion for live art.
We are seeking to work with artists who have a technical practice, including production managers, technical directors, technicians, designers, and independent creators.
All applicants should be Toronto-based (or within daily commute of Toronto).
ACCOMPLICES + THE OtM EXPANSION PACK
The OtM Expansion Pack is a free gear lending program, designed to cut down on costly and wasteful one-off purchases and rentals, and allow artists to take their production design and audience experience to the next level. The project is made possible by the acquisition of OtM’s OUTFIT THE MARCH portable production equipment.
Now in its second year, ExPk will be offered to 2 productions, including a site-engaged work featured in the 2027 SummerWorks Performance Festival. Artistic Accomplices will be key collaborators on both ExPk productions.
